CHASEN "SHIN" - BAMBOO WHISK (BLACK)

This is a special round shaped CHASEN bamboo whisk, cut out of black bamboo.
This black bamboo and the SHIN shape was made very popular by the  school Omote senke 表千家from Kyoto, one of the three schools having direct lineage from Sen no Rikyu.
 
All our bamboo whisks are made by hand by artisans in the famous craft town called Takayama in NARA Prefecture.
 
This whisk is of excellent grade, long lasting and particularly appreciated by its rounded shape.

Due to limited supplies, we limit this item to one per order. 
 
Washing instructions: rinse gently with lukewarm water after use. Let it dry naturally. Do not rub or use detergent on the whisk.
